Harley was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio and is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland where he studied Neuroscience and Psychology. He obtained his medical training from Florida International University in Miami. In his spare time, he enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Kat is the practice manager for Taral Sharma MD., PC. She oversees the operations of all offices and administrative staff. Her goal is to make each of our clinics better every day, and to make sure our patients know they are important to us. At Taral Sharma MD., PC, we go above and beyond to work as a TEAM for our patients; and Kat makes herself available daily for any staff or patient needs.
Jade is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a passion for helping underserved and rural communities. She is an honors graduate from Southern Connecticut State University where she studied Psychology. She obtained her Master’s Degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she was also an honors graduate. Jade relocated to the upstate several years ago after falling in love with Lake Hartwell. In her free time, you can find her with her husband, training her three shelter rescue dogs, spending time on home construction projects and hanging out on the lake.
Kelsie Fowler, APRN is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with honors at Clemson University (2019). Kelsie has over 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, 3 of which have been under the supervision of Dr. Sharma. She is highly committed to providing exceptional thorough, holistic, and preventative care methods to all of her patients, which will ensure they are capable of enjoying their best health possible.
Betsy is an LPC who has experience in working with clients with depression, anxiety, abuse, neglect, trauma, grief, and family of origin issues. She believes that all clients deserve to be treated with respect and compassion. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral, gestalt, and acceptance & forgiveness therapies. She is originally from Texas. Never put the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket.
Jen is a Practitioner of the Healing Arts, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor with special certifications in treating Substance Use Disorders, trauma recovery, and emotional regulation. Educated at Clemson University for her BA, M Ed, and +30. She has taken all of their counseling courses and then some. She has worked in various settings, from Arts Conservatory and Wilderness Therapy to Medication Assisted Treatment and the Department of Mental Health. She has loved each and every opportunity to work with people as they navigate and make meaning of their experiences. She lives with her husband and 5 dogs. When there is time to play, she like to read, make art, travel and visit her family at the beach.
Trishna graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in biology and received a Master's in Physician Assistant from Faulkner University in 2022. She grew up near Atlanta, GA and moved to Greenville, SC within the last year. She enjoys reading and watching the Bulldogs while spending time with her dog and husband.
Will Hendricks, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Will is experienced in both psychiatric inpatient and outpatient services. Will also serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Taral Sharma, M.D., P.C. Will is passionate about helping others. Will is originally from Georgia, but now calls Upstate South Carolina home. When not in the office, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and their three dogs.
Stephanie serves as a Clinical Therapy Supervisor with Taral Sharma MD PC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor/ Licensed Addictions Counselor who uses multiple methods to treat a wide variety of presenting problems across trauma, mental health and addiction.
Shenika takes pride in seeing her clients move toward their goals, she is there rooting them on and offering support as necessary. Shenika has had the pleasure of working with all age cohorts. Currently she is a trauma focused provider as noted on the MUSC website and soon will be adding DBT to her certification list. She uses several techniques with her clients to specifically address their needs and concerns. She received her Master’s from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA and her Bachelors from Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She works hard in her church community and dedicates her time and efforts to provide mental health access to underserved areas.
Dr. Mckenzie is a board certified general adult psychiatrist serving as the Medical Director at Taral Sharma, M.D., P.C. A native of Charleston, SC, Dr. Mckenzie completed his residency training at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where he served as the cief resident. Through his research publications, committee leadership, and professional service, he furthers his professional insterests in psychopharmacology, academic psychiatry, and medical education. His enthusiasm, empathy, and commitment to his patient's care best serves his mission of improving the mental health care of the upstate community.
Karen serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with Taral Sharma MD PC. A native of Atlanta, GA, she holds two master's degrees-one in Addiction Counseling and one in Professional Counseling. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy concerts, cruises, boating, and annoying their six cats.
Zac is the Spravato, TMS Coordinator for Taral Sharma, M.D., P.C., along with helping our front desk staff anytime assistance is needed. He is always happy to help anyone he can! Zac has two cats that he loves very much and spends a lot of time and money on. He loves all things Cinema and is always open for any suggestions to become a better person that are given!
Dr. Sharma serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Taral Sharma M.D., P.C. Dr. Sharma is board certified in Psychiatry & Addiction Medicine. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and their dog Teddy.
Candace is a front office associate at our Seneca location. She is always willing to take the extra steps needed to please our patients! She has three beautiful children 15, 12, 8, two girls and boy. She is always on the go and goes to lots of sports events in her free time with her family.
Savannah works as our practice office assistant. Savannah is a go getter and willing to lend a hand at any office she is needed. She has an associate’s degree in administration specializing in medical office. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her cat Jonesy.
Valerie is a front desk assistant at both of our Anderson offices, and is dedicated to excellent service. Outside of work she spends time with her daughter and is always finding something to stay active and loves trying new things . Whether at work or play, she always looks for the next opportunity to learn and grow .
Louise is our front office receptionist at both our Greenville land Seneca locations when needed. Louise is very dedicated to assisting our patients, and making sure they have a positive experience. When not at work she spends time with her grandkids, cooking or baking.
Katie is the Spravato and TMS coordinator for treatments in our Anderson location. She has been with our practice since 2021 and enjoys working with the patients and seeing the transformation our patients go through while receiving these treatments. When Katie is not working, she enjoying crafting, cooking, reading, and spending time with my family.
Meka is a Medical Assistant at our Greenville location. She has been in the Mental Health Field for the past 11 years. Meka has a passion for helping people reach their goal of wellness, in all aspects of life. Outside of work you can her on the soccer field with my 13-year-old daughter, or at the park with my husband and two dogs.
Sharlett is our front office lead and staff trainer in our main Anderson office. She has an associate’s degree in business. She loves to smile, and cares about all our patients. Outside of the office she enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 daughters, and grandchildren.
Aneya is the Spravato and TMS Coordinator in our Seneca office, as well as a certified Phlebotomist. Her passion is to love and care for others in any way possible. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her son and family.
Elfreda is a compassionate physician Assistant focused on patient-centered care. She understands both the power of a listening ear and up to date clinical care. Elfreda is a graduate of South College Atlanta and is enjoying spending time with family and exploring the beautiful upstate hiking trails and gardening.
Nathan is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He obtained his associate’s degree in nursing in 2004 and has worked in several different nursing environments in his career including inpatient, an emergency department, and inpatient psychiatry. He obtained his master’s degree in 2023. He is a veteran of the Air Force. When not at work he enjoys time with his family, reading, and working out.
Yvette is a therapist providing therapy services at our Seneca office.
Tom is a clinician serving part time at the Anderson Pelham Lane office. He has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Licensed in South Carolina as a Professional Counselor in 2002, he has worked in various roles ranging from School-based therapy to having a private practice providing community therapy in the Anderson area to children, adolescents and adults. He enjoys riding motorcycles, entertaining his 2 year old Weimaraner, and raising chickens.
Kim is the office receptionist for our Spartanburg location. Kim is willing to go the extra mile to make sure our patients are always taken care of, and you’ll never find her without a smile on her face. Outside of work you can find Kim hanging out with her family and dog, or curled up reading a book.
Brittany is an office administrator for our Spartanburg location. She assists with new referrals for our Neurology and Psychiatry office as well as taking care of any medical record request that our office may receive. Brittany is always willing to take on new tasks and lend a helping hand. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her children.
Heather is a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing services at our Anderson office.
Katrina is a board certified APRN who graduated with honors from Clemson University in 2013 with a master’s degree in nursing. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, Katrina worked in the intensive care unit as a registered nurse. Katrina has over eleven years of experience working in family practice, urgent care, and psychiatry. Her goal is to provide comprehensive compassionate care to help her patients achieve their mental health goals.
